Each tractor has installed telematic units to operationally sync repositioning of aircraft, providing direct access to maintenance and tracking data.

Repositioning teams are FAA-licensed aircraft and power-plant mechanics and FAA licensed commercial pilots.

We are the first independent repositioning company outside of the airline industry to acquire FAR 145 repair station certificates with D107 and the only service to acquire Blue-stripe certification from the Chicago Department of Aviation.

Our hanger is your hanger.

When necessary, aircraft can be stored in our 180,000 square foot hanger in prime logistics position at O’Hare International.

Customer aircraft can be maintained in US Techs hanger during inclement weather conditions, between gate assignments and for other logistical requirements.

When positioned, or being moved into position, aircraft coming and going from the US Techs hangers will have access to our full range of Taxi Tech repositioning services.

Leading in green standards.

Going forward to meet the requirements for handling regional aircraft types and expanding market sector reliant on green innovations, US TECHS is transitioning its services to include the Kalmar TBL 50 fully-electric tractor.

The TBL-50 is designed for pushback and maintenance towing of commuter for example: ATR, Dash 8, Embraer, SAAB and even up to B737 as well as A320.

A complete new design and patent for the docking device "cradle" is the base for this tractor. The force monitoring system (F.A.C.T.®) enables constant and accurate measuring of tow and brake force as well as turn force and angle, thus making it possible to handle commuter aircrafts tow-bar-less with absolute security.

In line with all other Kalmar TBL tractors, the TBL 50 is able to dock without moving or lifting the aircraft.
